MY LOVE LETTER TO MUSIC

In moments when I’m not exactly sure what I’m feeling, music creates a space to tell the story of my sentiments.

The songs I write aren’t your Taylor Swift heartbreak songs or Pitbull party anthems.

They help me reflect on experiences I’ve lived through.

One of the things I love most about it all, is that no matter what it was that inspired a song, I know that someone somewhere will see themselves in it. They’ll resonate with the lyrics.

I’m no copywriter but the day I learned what writing copy was, I realized that I had been doing it from the day I started to sing.

Collecting notebooks and writing about anything (including when 8 year old Veronica got told that she was going to New York City for the first time).
